As part of the "My Project Initiative" 2024 launch, an orientation meeting was held with the parents of participants of the Citizen chapter, both boys and girls, at the Best Buddies Qatar headquarters. Twenty-eight parents and their families attended the meeting.

The “My Project Initiative” focuses on providing workshops and training to participants of the Citizen chapter in five different craft fields, aiming to develop the skills of Persons with disabilities and integrate them into society by supporting small investment projects for the participants and their families. The meeting also aimed to inform families about the work process in implementing the initiative and to address their questions and concerns.
